Chi and von don't care enough to talk to one another about the Aces.

In this part of the book, the reader finds out that Chii has a secret with Jamiee. They run over a girl, Chi tries to save her by tring calling the ambulance and trying to get out of the car to see if she can help,p nut jamie snaches her hand and locks the car and leaves. He was scared for his dad to find out about this excitement, also find out that Devon is gay, and that a picture of him and a guy got leaked out.

In this section of the book, we really start talking about the popular girl Chiamaka on how shes so popular. The way to get popular in school was by making people jelouse on the life you live. The other character that is mentioned a lot is Devon, who struggles on trying to fit in with the school norms and how she alsways feels left out and feels nothing close to Chiamaka.

This story starts with a girl who is colored talking about her coming back to school and being in her senior year. She was talking about how the school worked and about her 2 close classmates. Everybody thinks that they are the best frieds but they just talk because they are powerfull duo.
