Although not entirely *realistic*, I adore every relationship in this book. Olivia and Cara. Carter and Cara. Oh my gosh, and the scene where we see the twins named after the Brodie family? Tears. A lot. And I knew Abel was gonna go home with Emmett eventually. I’m in love with that kid, and wish their family the best. Tears every page, happy and sad, genuinely.

Cara has my heart. Sarah and Craig can go die, along with Natasha. I have hopes about this kid from the organization that the ‘family’ volunteers at. I think it would be amazing if the Brodies are able to reproduce biologically, but if not, it’s definitely going to be that kid he gave his toque to.

I will admit, it’s beginning to grow on me. Emmett’s (apparent) undying love for Cara can only be described as admirable. I barely love myself that deeply, let alone another human being. The only thing with this book is that all the scenarios are so unrealistic. You don’t tell a girl you’re going to marry her when you first meet her. If you do, it’s a little psychotic. Anyway, I’m starting to enjoy it!

Im honestly not enjoying this book much at the moment. I’m not sure if the constant sex scenes are relevant to the plot at all, but literally, it’s driving me insane, and I’m usually not against smut at all. For the first few chapters, I was bored. I didn’t see any actual plot occurring other than like I said, constant sex. Cara then got news of her infertility, and the flashbacks started getting interesting.
