There’s just too much romance for my taste (of late I’ve grown very tired of books where the leads do nothing but notice the physical appearance of the other), so I’m going to skim for the good parts.

I’m somewhat sad about this as I had looked forward to seeing how this book handled the subject of slavery in the South, but I just don’t it in me to read yet another story full of conversational muscles.
