I think I have to call this and DNF. It is just TOO lame. Might skim it to the end. It is terribly written. Plot is all over the place and not at all interesting. Zero development and the dialogue is repetitive: the characters just keep thinking and saying the same things OVER and OVER again. I cannot believe this book has any ratings over 2 stars. Who are these reviewers!? 8th graders?

This author is annoying the shit out of me. A quarter through the book as STILL all we get is two and three helpings of the same shite over and over again. The bickeris is out of control. Her begging her brother to give her an assignment. The number of times King asks Saff why she doesn't like him. The weak-sauce excuse she finally relents to giving him. It's repetitive and sophomoric and infantile writing.

This dialogue is horrible. It’s a bunch of back and forth bickering (between Lock and Saff) and gossiping (between Saff and Tabs). None of it interesting. None of it the least bit inspired. Banal to the nth degree. Lots of repetitive padding and explanations about these missions and exercises that make little sense.
