Only the Elder Dan and his people’s history keep me reading. The author/narrator, Kent, is so disrespectful and impatient it’s made me angry. When he speaks I want to throw the book in the trash. Out of respect for Dan and a desire to keep learning I press on. How is it that Kent has moved from ignorance in book one to pure disrespect in book two??? It’s so maddening!
