1. Evvie for to deans to watch a show, they both swear not to know about it if asked. He asked why Tim was so loved. She said because most people with options leave and never come back. He did. Nice (if you didn’t live with him) and loved. A unicorn. Anywhere else he would be a nice looking horse. Leave brick between apartment and kitchen, only remove at night.

10. Evvie being coach finch from local high school to meet Dean. Wants him to come talk to the players and give advice. Dean asks if he knows his situation. Yes, but nothing to lose. Might even want him to help with assistant coaching. Hard to say no.

8. Reporter comes to door. evvie threatens her and doesn’t give her info but the reporter still writes a story. Accusations that they are sleeping together. Everyone will read it. Dean does see it ask her about it and they have a laugh. He apologizes that a reporter came knocking.

7 Evvie sees dean in backyard, throws pinecone. Comes in, she’s rushes to kitchen, pretends to be normal. They share tea. She tells him that she doesn’t miss Tim, more than anyone else knows. Goes to room and looks up the yips and more about Dean.

6. Tree planting ceremony to remember Tim, one year after funeral. Reputations are bullshit. She’s there with Andy. Everyone remembering Tim, don’t know the truth. She flashes back to high school, his temper. Flunk math final to let him win valedictorian. Second scholarship because of his busted ego.

Dean thrift store for apartment. Waiting for bed. Evvie goes in, new life in apartment. Causal talk, claws baseball drama. Good place to take a break. Connection. Lobster trade real. He’s learning about Maine.

Four. Dean arrives at Evvie’s to see the apartment. Good vibes. They agree not to discuss their “situations” - dead husband and baseball career.

Three. Dean arrives at Andy’s. Catch up over beer. Andy two daughters, 7 and 5. Divorced. Andy out of baseball, tried all sorts of things to try and get his career on track, no luck. Doesn’t know what to do next. Evvie like Chevy.
