Straight up crying omg. Hester your fear is too real 😭

God I feel so fucking bad for Cordelia. Her mother has been so awful to her for her entire life. Idk if it's because I've been emotional the last day or two or if this book is really this sad but I've teared up multiple times already :( poor Cordelia.

Hester and Alice are real ones they immediately knew something was up and are actively doing what they can to help Cordelia. This book is v good so far

I promise the next book I'll read is The Song of Achilles but this one's first. I'm excited for it. Plus this main character is named Cordelia and so was Her Wicked Roots mc.
