Too enamoured with Visual mediums and Super Heroes, which IMO are not SF. I was first reading SF and Marvel/DC in late 1960s. I thought of the UK comic "Dan Dare" and also "Thunderbirds" as sort of SF.

This is getting painful, with too much focus on barely SF and the DC/Marvel etc comic world. IMO Superheros are a completely separate genre.
