i need to rant before dnfing this book.
where do I begin... i tried to finish it bc it was short and I was curious to know where it was going and if there was any change with the characters but there isn't.
there's a difference between being a good person and being an idiot and the FMC in this is the biggest idiot in the planet and don't get me started on the MMC he's an asshole. oh my god. i'm genuinely pissed.

62% into the book and that man has no redeeming qualities. he says the meanest shit and it's all justified bc "he always says the first thing in his mind without thinking" he never actually apologizes for anything. and the FMC is genuinely an idiot she's been letting people taking advantage of her for so long without standing up for herself. she tries to avoid confrontation at all cost and let's that man treat her like that. also the dialog is so... odd. I couldn't picture grown people actually talking like that. i could go on and on and on about how bad this is but oh man 😭 I'm not reading anymore of this.
