Re-read with Little man before movie comes out

Okay, found the urgency! 😆

I have a little over 5 hours left of the book. To be honest it’s falling a little flat at this point, the spider guy is interesting but I need a little more action and a little less scientific studies. Where’s the sense of urgency? The flashbacks are even slow… and lacking the hey- the planet is going to freeze soon….

I am going to be very honest. And this is a spoiler……………………………………….

The aliens are throwing me off. I wasn’t expecting them, I was expecting more of a emotional I am going to die saving the planet, while remember the good times with the people I loved and just the going through the motions of it all. The aliens feel very how to train your dragon to me…….. iykyk.

Listening to the audiobook, pretty good so far.
