Wonderfully moved by the sections on Odesa - especially the perspective that there is always a “more dangerous” place. She paints a beautiful picture of a resilient city with a very strong identity.

I’m very absorbed so far - she’s painting a vivid picture of places I have no concept of going. I also felt pleasantly surprised that she’s Scottish - from the Fair Isle no less - which just makes it more intriguing for my perspective
