I’m almost done with Book 2 and it has been such a delight to listen to these LOTR books and revel in Tolkien’s craftsmanship. Though it is quite jarring to hop out of the minivan and head into Publix when my friends are still in Shelob’s lair near the pass of Cirith Ungol in Mordor.
