Theres something about this that reminds me a lot of open water and all the reasons that didn’t work for me. Every touch is lighting, crisp english is a frozen pond, everyone is shaking fresh rain water off their new wings. When every moment of a book is poetic, it’s really hard for me to stay interested in a plot. Idk.
