But im almost tired of it hahah, its such a contrast to the other books (altho rhys & feyre are horny mf'ers sometimes too)

I agree it's a lot. It seems like ACOSF is beloved but I thought it was like watching Lord of the Rings, pausing to watch some porn for two hours and then finishing up Lord of the Rings. It's really odd.

Hahahaha omg I wish to see that, that's exactly how it feels! It's just such a different language and it's almost "weird" especially if you read the series quickly after eachother. (and I say this as a smut lover, but it just almost feels like a different person wrote the scenes now)
Yeah the first impression hits like that tbh. I didn't enjoy my first read of this book cause I binged the series without spacing. But my second attempt was more of a resonating and relating one, ended up loving it.
If you want hit me up @leavemeandmycoffee and I'll send it alongBut I agree it's a huge tonal shift and I've seen some mild debate about whether it was written by someone else, but idk. I haven't read TOG or Crescent City so maybe they match the writing style more

I have only read these ACOTAR books so far too so yeah maybe it's just something that shows up sometimes ahahh
