Low-key forgot to update this. There was a lot of boring legal stuff but damn shit is getting tense

Damn the way every chapter has a cliff hanger. I wanna know what happens next so badly but I need to control the urge

There was a little too much description but the plot is thickening

Doing this again. Damn the way this plot just sucks you in asap. I wanna know more about the woman in white!!

The cliff hanger is crazyy (it wasn't all that loll). Count Fosco was not how I pictured him I thought he would be some 30 year old handsome Italian dude but he's old and fat

Stop the way this was so unexpectedly ahead of its times with Marian Halcombe speaking about how women are mistreated within marriages and basically treated like dogs rather than humans. Queen knows her shit. Plot twist on the end

So interesting but I'm low-key tired

Bruh idk wtf was going on tbh it was kinda boring this part

Low-key mid chapter

Finished Walter Hartwright's perspective. Admittedly a bit slow in some areas but the mystery is slow burn. A bit male gaze tho. Love Marian Halcombe she's so fascinating!
