I can’t stand this type of narrative and I HATE this trope even worse (the kind where characters are left in the dark for their “safety” which 110% always turns out to make them 100% unsafe AND ignorant)

Little Light Dollie as a pet name is giving me major ick.

Also Zephyr the dweeb thinking he is a match for a 1500 year old vampire is just laughable.

Please, authors, make your characters’ skill, power, and knowledge proportionate to the story.
