Also, at this point in my life, I'm accustomed to reading multiple books at once, but reading this at the same time as The Unwanted Princess of Affel was apparently a mistake because I kept just wanting to be reading that one🤣🙈

To be perfectly frank, so far this duology has been quite a mix of things I really enjoy and things that make me want to face palm and roll my eyes repeatedly 🤣🙈 (There's one character in particular of whom I'm such a fan!)

I actually loved this duology though!
