‘Ever since the Harpers had lifted their ban on Finder’s music, Joel‘s god’s songs had flourished in the Realms.’

Glad to know the loosely organized, semi-secret organization for Good in the Realms has the desire and ability to ban specific songs from the whole land. How exactly did they enforce that?

If I were to DNF a Forgotten Realms book it would have been long before this one. But I’m very much just reading to get to the end now. And this is the best one in quite a while.

Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* Hang on, I’m remembering y from all the years of terrible Forgotten Realms novels. I think Finder’s music was magically locked away for reasons, and prior books from this couple covered how that spell ended. All good.

Aidan Hennessy I'm choosing to ignore your later correction and just assume part of the Harper oath is to decide music that Faerunites listen to like some sort of fantasy FCC.

It's totally something Elminster would do and claim it's for the good of the Realms.
