Finally giving background story and explaining things 320 pages in is insane and actually do not understand how this made it past the editing stage. Like at this point it took so long to learn anything about this main character and world that truthfully I don’t even care

There ain’t no way y’all are romanticising this and actually want me to want them together as a couple after that. I don’t care why he had to do it (🍇), there is no way she should EVER end up with him. This is utterly disgusting, I cannot believe people are actually giving this book 5 stars. It’s not even good. I’ve read 244 of NOTHING substantial. If only I could dnf without feeling guilt

I’m just not liking this 😬 The writing isn’t good, the world and magic system haven’t been properly explained even though we’re 100 pages in, I don’t have a connection for the main character and don’t get the urgency of the situation because of it but also because it hasn’t been explained. Already thinking this has no business been 1000 pages long and it only makes sense if you’ve read the fanfic

guys wtf am i reading? I’m so confused, they just throw you in the middle of it and say words and terms without explaining anything?? If you have to read the fanfic to be able to read the book then it’s just poorly done. Sorry not sorry.
