Suddenly I feel a strong desire to be a little girl again. I want nothing more than for my mother to swaddle me, to rock me, to read me a story. I want her to tell me that the sorrow coursing through my veins and gushing out the corners of my eyes will stop one day... I want her to read me one of her daily quotes, the one about how grief is just love looking for somewhere to go.
