I KNEW this was a 700-page book, which is exactly why I wasn’t expecting insta-attraction this early?? Like… less than 50 pages in and we’re already there?
For a book this long, I was fully expecting a slow burn more tension, more distance, more build-up before anything even starts. So the pacing of the relationship definitely caught me off guard.
