Ok I can give it more credit -the world building is horrible and the writing is NOT lyrical… it’s giving “I wanna make it sound pretty, not make it make sense” but it’s not as bad as I initially thought.

120 pages in and it’s a CHORE to keep reading. Idk what people are using the word “lyrical” for? There’s nothing lyrical about awkwardly pronounced names and places and choppy plot lines. So far I hate the FMC and I know basically nothing about any of the other characters, they’re so flat. I give 0 f***s about what happens to the friend and idk who the MMC actually is, probably Raven but idk.
