Putting the toxic in toxic Yaoi

Oh my god I've been reading this entire book wrong.

I don't know if I was supposed to know (something important yet spoilery) or if I'm meant to have found out now. Confusing book (or not good at focusing reader). Which means it'll need a reread.

Friend asked me what I was reading and the way I couldn't begin to describe any of it...

Delicious delicious body horror.

I looove Mallory.

I mean this in the best possible way: this book has the hallucinatory effect of dropping acid and then trying to watch Arcane, a Wes Anderson movie, and a National Geographic documentary about bugs simultaneously.

I understand maybe 20% of what's happening and loving it
