reading about “how important labor movements are for the american working class” days after reading dunbar-ortiz’s work describing how organized labor (and esp the AFL-CIO) has been a key actor in the settler colonial state and in institutionalizing racism hits so different. very interested to see if/how he deals with that here. currently finding out there is a character limit for these updates
