It’s so interesting to see how this early into the book Jasons’ Pride/hubris, disregard for women and the Gods directly lead to his downfall. He disregards his mother’s wishes, he doesn’t pray to the gods before embarking. The style of the story being accounts from multiple people, but the accounts from men tending to be shorter and less involved, while there are more accounts from women highlight this.
