I thought I'd finally reached the good part where the shit would hit the fan, but there are still pacing issues. Did the publisher assign a different editor to Brennan for this book? It's strangely... lumpy. :(

What's with the big-ass paragraphs? I don't remember that from the first three books. And the pacing is off. Too much rehashing. Extremely well-written rehashing, but still. Come on, book...
