I really should of looked at the reviews before I bought this book… A good example of why I generally don’t lean towards “literary fiction” these days as this feels like an essay about the authors love of earth with the outline of a novel interspersed in it than an actual novel. Much more concerned with pretty, thought provoking prose than showing those thoughts through the characters. Telling, not showing.
