I loved the beginning of this book. Compared to other Carlo Ginzburg’s books, which are loaded with theory and big words, this is easier to digest and understand. Less theoretical and more informative. It is still dense and academic but definitely one of the least boring. After the intro the book, as any other Ginzburg’s books is amazing and the flow is neat.
