I love that this group of not biologically related siblings (except for Fallon and her bio brother) are so close and intune with eachother, like the checking in and protecting each other this early in the book is everything. Anson still very much intrigues me, and now i'm getting the small snippets to him I love that he's close enough enough to Rhodes to keep her safe. You know being ex FBI and all. But these plots

So far, I see there’s a resemblance in tragedy for both Rhodes and Anson. They’re both grieving from loss but they don’t know that about each other, yet he gets a feeling that there’s a connection between the house and her. I do feel it in the feelings though. I’m hooked

Oh how my heart hurts for her, but being introduced to her best friend and her mother and the situation they’re in. I have no doubt Rhodes is in safe and capable hands which is clear already she’s found a family after loss
