Author comes from a healthy, functional and very tidy family with functional and tidy parents, and developed a *love* of cleaning and organizing early, and only started to struggle after an illness. I feel like I did during *Laziness Does Not Exist*, where the author's "poor functioning" still looks better and more accomplished than what I can usually manage at my absolute best.

So far I've been mostly enjoying it, but the author definitely comes from a completely different origin, starting point, standards, etc. than like... anybody I know who actually struggles with this stuff. "You just need to relearn how to enjoy cleaning again!" I also feel like my own experience is completely alien here - ND parent with neurotic standards and no understanding of their ND kid.

So far I'm even more despairing and hopeless than I was when I started. 👉😎👉
