This book makes no sense 😩 he's a demon but sometimes cares about being nice and acts like a little school girl when he sees a cat? wtf am I reading

Really.... a Pirates of the Caribbean quote? Am I gonna have to DNF this book? Am I just in a bad mood or does it actually suck?

First of all, this is starting to sound a lot like the Souls Trilogy by Harley Laroux.
Secondly, I feel like I've jumped into the middle of a story. I have no idea what's going on.
