Every character is so infuriatingly aggravating with their every action, this is so fascinating. There’s a tragic overtone that really reminds me of the Stark chapters in AGOT (lol) in that everything that happens is what has to happen in order for the story to progress.
I will say, I still don’t like the 1st person recounting storytelling. It feels so limiting. But maybe it’s a me thing, idk.
