I totally get it why the author need the „Miscommunication“ trop, but it’s very annoying. MMC continues to speak in riddles and acts like a villain, and it’s annoying too. FMC continues to drown in self pity and self hatred for more than half of the book now…

Miscommunication trop, really? She will rage and feed her monster-shadow with anger because he said: “I want back, what’s mine”. Of course, she thinks he spoke about his kingdom. But it’s so unlikely because he gave the island to her in book one freely. I have a bad feeling about it.

Ok, ok! I‘ve got it. Every character of this book wants, what’s his or hers. It’s enough with dramatic snarling of phrases like: “I want back, what’s mine!“ or “I won’t let anyone take, what’s mine” 35 times in the book. Tell me what it is!!! Maybe it’s not the same thing.
