And yes in future updates in other issues she seems to have motive, so really this story just baffles me.

But even through deep thought of why the author wrote this I am still trying to put together why? Was it because she wanted to write about this industry and show the F-Ed side of humanity? Was it that she wanted to write about just godawful characters to make a “good?” Story? Not sure. I mean it even said in one of her small rants that there isn’t really a point to the story and why she wrote it.

But the way these obviously mentally unwell characters navigate their desires gives an interesting story to follow. First I want to make this clear I probably would never recommend this book to anyone never-mind re-read it. But it was definitely something and get why people rated it so high. I don’t recommend this to anyone who’s uncomfortable with body horror or just sexual acts in general.

I get it now. This story is about this strange industry and the awareness of how awful, gross and just straight up F-ed up it is. It shows the strange relationship between Domino and Jack. And honestly the more I think about it the more interesting it actually seems. Sure the story is strange and that’s putting it lightly.

This is strangely informative and at the same time I don’t know how to feel about it. One things for sure the art is great
