It's funny to see beliefs about skulls from back then. Even today everyone believes things about skulls which are clearly not the case. biomechanical regulation of the confederacy of bones, their maintenance and development is way different from mainstream beliefs. Sadly, the author believed what Israel Ehrenberg said about "neoteny" which is was even refuted back in those days.
