Saying this is a dark academia is a far fetched, it’s more like it happens at a school but doesn’t not weigh heavy on the academia side. For me the book took a turn when Vic decided to stay with Henry. Their relationship becomes more or less non existent and the plot just seems to slip away. I think I would have liked it more if it was wrote from both the perspective of Henry and Vic.
