i remember i couldn't DNF books in the past, so i used to force myself to read them, thinking that they could get better (plot twist, 99% of the time, it didn't). so i stopped doing that and started DNFing books. i realized there's tons of great books waiting for me to discover them. life's too short to force ourselves to read something we don't like
