Haha I derped. This is definitely historical fiction. It just doesn't center around a big historical event unlike a lot of the other historical fiction novels I've read in past so I didn't clock it. It does touch on witches, and witchcraft and the perception of them across the three generations with a strong focus on female resilience.

I love generational stories, ones that have characters/perspectives that belong to different generations. I'm really enjoying this one so far. I think this is the first one in this format that I've read that's not of the historical fiction pursuasion.
