Just finished the chapter on Youth and Children. While the statistics would now be outdated by a few years, they are nevertheless startling. Nothing will make you want to invest more in the children and youth in your community or church.

Such a dense read but so much good information! Love what it has about poverty and urban life!

Onto the different types of poverty: material, social, and spiritual. The bit on social poverty interested me; never heard of it described in that way.

This gets more exciting with each chapter!
