I may never learn to like the art, but the tone and style are or such a consistent quality, I always ending up coming back

Ian As is typical, this comic does a nice balance of more noir-esque real world elements with nods to the characters superhero background for a mostly down to earth caper peppered with elements of the superheroic and a nod to the character's far sillier second costume. Also maintains the adult tone with plenty of f-bombs and references to sex, exploitation, and prostitution. But when dealing with the seedy and criminal side of New York City in the 30s, thats hardly uinexpected and I think this comic remains mature but never distasteful, though I've come to expect the requisite "Hey there mister" double entendre from Dian (his girlfriend and partner) at this point.
