Were actually not off to a good start….

feeling like a dnf, and maybe itd be best to preserve it as an ennoyable read in my mind, and not ruin it as it stands it might rn…

Also it was fun to realise that I actually read the first book in the parents' series whose main plot point was the heroine wanting the hero to kill avendale's cruel dad & that I remember his mom and lil Whit/Ben from it, so avendale was actually a sorta familiar character and was interesting to see what became of lil Whit. Gotta say so far this was prob my fave lh book with Lord of Temptation a close second
