VISUALIZE: In the scene where Stella and her dad walk into the dorm to live for the summer.I can feeling between Stella and her dad is mutual, and being welcomed in a room with a new room smell. On pg.420 it says "we should go" with just this I can visualize her dad and the people helping her move in don't want to be there anymore because they're feeling like they cant change Stella's mind about going here.

POV: The point of view in this book is 1st person narrator. I know this because this book it told from "I". For example on pg.365 it says "I don't trust myself to say anymore...I let out the breathe I've been holding." This shows that it is 1st person narrator because it's one character as the narrator.

POINT OF VIEW: The point of view is 3rd person omniscient. I know this because the story is told by a narrator on the outside but they know the thoughts and feeling of the characters. The narrator talks like he is apart of everybody's brains and minds.

SUMMARY: Girls in New America have to have a chaperone at all times. Stella is never alone. On pg. 70 it says "Before sister Helen, I've never went anywhere without my mom or dad. But now I am really truly alone." This shows that Stella is feeling lonely and she feels like she cant do anything or live a normal life.
