I finished this book in two days. I like the writing style and I’ve enjoyed the plot and the characters .

I do like the sections where we see things from the alien viewpoint, especially the author’s unique take on hive mind aliens. I look forward to the next book in the series.

There are some very good passages regarding grief and loss and coming to terms with a difficult and cruel life.
