honestly it was just weird reading about mrs claus and being in the north pole celebrating halloween in a halloween themed murder mystery book and of course all the elves had stupid names so i couldnt take anything seriously even though one of the two crimes covered in the story was pretty fucked up and seemed more fucked up cuz christmas elves committed it?

story 1: 3/5 - it was fine, though it was nice reading a story that was set in ireland, to my knowledge, ive not read anything set in ireland (though ravenfall series does have irish folklore but takes place in america though) so it was nice reading about things i never heard of
story 2: still in the middle of but i dont know how i feel about it being set in the north pole with mrs claus, seems very...odd? XD

not story related, but the cover reminded me a lot of a 3 story book i read recently and it also 3 stories, so i did bit of a deep dive and it seems the publishing house has released about 3 halloween books with 3 short stories and another 1 that was like spring related if i remember, i decided to skip the other 2 books as it was the same authors as the other book and i believe same MC's and i didnt like them haha.
