So I really love this book so far. The tension is palpable, mystery intriguing, and even the slow burn descent into horror create this amazing dread that permeates the entire novel. With that being said, the romance is tasting like unseasoned chicken. I really want to care about these two and their love for eachother but I dont get the sense that they really even like each other. They clearly just want to bang.
