Theory time. I still think its Sanjeen and Elizabeth and also i think its part of the first plot of "you killed our father" and so taking revenge. Also if theyre a powerful family they obviously have ties to corrupt police who are letting this happen. I think the "plot" El stole is writing about their tragedies.
