Amos and Marlo are put in a canoe together after Amos and his dad struggle. They take a wrong turn and end up going over a waterfall. They soon discover they are completely loss, and Amos develops hypothermia. They make camp, and Cheerio helps him warm up. The next morning, they decide to hike upriver to try to find their parents. Marlo is still frustrated by their fractured friendship.
