they're not all plot-important, lol, or at least i don't feel like my enjoyment of the book hinged on remembering them all XD i mainly remember the couple with the baby, and obviously the brother and his fiancee, and then there's also maya's friend with the fabulous wardrobe? lmao i'm really selling this aren't i.....

They weren't all plot important, you're definitely right there. I just felt like it muddied up the story a bit. Like the hockey player? Has he been in previous books? It left me feeling a bit nutty.
see, i don't know, bc i haven't read the first one yet! i do have it from the library though so i'll find out soon, lol. i know what you mean about it muddying the story a bit, but on the other hand, i'd have found it weird if this were a week-long pre-wedding party with only like six people at it, lol. is there a word for characters that are necessary for set dressing but not for plot? XD
