I am not the target audience for this book. It is way too scantified for me. I have spent too many years distancing myself from toxic church folks I couldn’t get into this book.

The Authors note mentioned this wasn’t a Christian romance & references to God, the Bible, scripture, etc. I underestimated how frequently these things would be mentioned. Not a Christain romance but absolutely a scantified one. Genesis is working my nerve. I need her to put on her big girl panties ASAP so I can see some character development, otherwise this one just isn’t for me.
