This...this isn't going well. I'm going to give it my requisite hundred pages. I have some issues with how juvenile the writing is, and the characters lack depth. But I'm pretty thrown by the lacking research. One character, in 1929, talked about spilling her Bloody Mary, despite the fact that vodka wasn't readily available (even illegally) in the US until after prohibition. Yikes.
